In pathology assays, we have assessed the ability of the isolates to infect faba bean and lentil, and we used microscopy and histology to observe the progress of disease in host plants. At Marchouch, protein content contributed minimally to the total trait variation and showed a weak association with grain yield and its components as indicated by the nearly perpendicular vectors in the biplot. Bouatay et al. investigated the valorization of faba pods mucilage as a natural flocculent for the treatment of textile wastewater. Compared to seven other agricultural wastes, faba bean pods and cabbage leaves, hydro-alcohol extracts showed the highest in vitro nematistatic properties, which were additionally corroborated by in vivo assays. A few studies have also investigated the application of products derived from faba bean pods. Additionally, faba bean pods showed to be a rich source of peroxidase enzymes that could potentially be applied in the environmental, biotechnological, chemical, or food industry. By symbiosis with Rhizobium, faba bean may fix up to 200 kg N ha-1 (Neugschwandtner et al., 2015) thus, improving yield performance of the subsequent crops (Duc et al., 2015). Thanks to genetic improvement strategies, especially in disease and parasites tolerance, the world average faba bean yield per ha has largely improved today up to 2.1 tha-1 in comparison with the 0.9 tha-1 in the past five decades (FAOSTAT, 2021). Similarly, in China, the largest faba bean worldwide producer (more than 32%), after constant and long-lasting reduction of areas and production, figures started to grow in recent years (FAOSTAT, 2021).

The inclusion of faba bean in feed pellets improved their hardness and physical quality (Kraugerud et al., 2011b). When growing these legumes, the presence of small populations of herbivorous insects is nothing to worry about.
The number of pods per plant in all varieties except NEB247 was higher in the fall compared to spring planting dates (Figure 3). According to Figure 3, EN3 shows the highest number of pods per plant for late-Sep planting dates. Conversely, the lowest number of pods per plant was related to mid-April, with 4.76 (Table 3). Across varieties, the highest number of pods per plant was recorded for plants planted late-Sep with 14.7. Between varieties, EN3 had the highest number of pods per plant (15.6); however, Aprovecho had the lowest (5.63). Across all varieties, faba beans planted in late September produced more branches compared to other planting dates.

It’s also nice that the Greek coffee is prepared in front of the guests. A great spot for a morning coffee in Athens. The atmosphere feels traditional and cozy, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I personally love Greek coffee, and this place delivers it perfectly.
The umbrellas are nice with a mattress and affordable. I would recommend everyone visiting Naxos/Agios Prokopios to spend a beach day here. The food is tasty and fresh, we tried the pasta, panini, costoletta and salads. We felt welcomed at the restaurant from the very first time and we recommend to try the handmade pasta.
The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a delightful destination for book lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. While it may get crowded on weekends, it's an ideal place for reading or enjoying a midday prosecco or healthy juice during weekdays. We ordered and the food came appropriately. The servers were very polite and nice and accommodating.
The crispy and freshly baked in the morning. This is the best croissant and pastry that I had over past few days. Feels like they don’t only care about food standards but also about creating a great atmosphere.
The vibe and drinks were cute but at least the pizzas were not it. Then the bar makes you comfortable with attentive service and spot on cocktails. First time in Athens so onto the tourist sightseeing bus for city orientation. Everything is perfect in this place. Enjoying our meal with a stunning view of the Acropolis truly made our day.
